Does anyone have this person in their database? I sent for and received his Naturalization papers from MN hoping it was my ggrandfather, it wasn't. He was born 25 June1858 in ?Mesjan,Dardarna,Sweden. I know these are probably misspelled. Came to US 1892. Wife Margarita, born 23 Sep1851 in Jeflebors lan, Sweden. Again misspelled. She died Mar 1902. Children Per Albin 30 Jul 1887 and Lars Emil 10 Aug 1891. Took oath 30 Mar 1910 in Henry Twsp, Koochiching, MN. I will gladly send these to anyone who can claim him. Karen

"Mesjan" sounds like it could have been "Mesjön"if pronounced the dialectal way. There is a Mesjön in Vilhelmina in the north.
"Jeflebors lan" is Gävleborgs län north of Stockholm.
"Dardarna" could easily be seen as "Dalarna" if spelled wrongly - but Mesjö in Dalarna? Beats me!
Maby it can be Venjan instead of "Mesjan"? Venjan is a small village in Dalarna.
