At Swenson S 27-3 = Iron Co, Crystal Falls, Finnish Lutheran (merged with Swedish to form United Lutheran) is this man and his wife:
b79 = page 79 of the second listbook on the microfilm, m = married, h=husband, w=wife
This is from the marriage index done by Rev. J. Hoikka whose way was to record if people were from Finland as these two people were. Perhaps this man is an ancestor of our new member?

Chuck, One of the witnesses at the marriage of my maternal grandparents in Crystal Falls was a Johan Back. This was at the Swedish Lutheran Church in 1905. Wonder if any connection. Karen

I see no Johan Back on my list which suggests he is not a member or was not born in Finland.

I am going back to check at Swenson again so maybe can look at that also.
