Henrik,
I searched the SSDI and the MN Death Index. There are no matching entries with that exact info. I did find a John Benson who died in Minneapolis, but his DOB was 17 Apr 1889 and his DOD 4 Sep 1977. I found him and his brother on Emigrant Register. Johannes Möyts age 18 going to Eveleth, MN 08.05.1907 Polaris, 15.05.1907 Teutonic. He arrived at Ellis Island 23 May 1907, going to brother Abraham Benson in Eveleth, MN.
I found Abraham Möyts, 22, going to Vermontin, MI 11.01.1905 Polaris, 18.01.1905 Baltic. The 1910 census has a John Benton, 21, Finn/Swede, US 1907, laborer iron mine in Bovey, Itasca, MN and in 1930, I found a John Benson, age 40, single, Finn, US 1907, laborer steam railroad, in Minneapolis, Hennepin, MN. He's listed as a lodger along with 75 pages of mostly men on Hennepin Avenue. Hope this helps, Karen
