Matti Nahkala, b. 18, Nov, 1872 in Revonlahti Finland to parents Jacob Samuelson Nahkala (aka Heilala/Heilanen) and Beata Zachrisdotter Pietala, died 1931 finland.
Married 1897 in Revonlahti to Kreeta Kustaava Jaakosdr. Isohuumonen.
They had 7 children?...6 of whom have much family in Finland of whom I am looking for!?
Daughter Helga, born 1904 and died 1985, Finland, married name Harjuhahdo. Unknown, or no children?
Son Joel, b 9-22-1900, emmigrated to the US. He died in Connecticut in 1984. His wife Vieno has is also now deceased. They had 3 children in Connecticut.
I am looking for information about 5-6 Nahkala children of Matti and Kreeta or their descendants (such as Helga) who remained in Finland.

You and my mother would be 3rd cousins...so we would be 3rd cousins once removed I guess!
Matti and my great great grandfather Henrik Jacobson Nahkala were brothers!
Do you happen to know anything about Henrik's wife, Greta Liisa Johansdr. Kurola, b 1860? I don't have any information on where in Finland she was from or her family?
Do you know anything about their sister Greta Nahkala Kauppi?
I believe Matti and Greta were the only two who stayed in Finland?
If you have any questions about the siblings who came to US, I have a little information.
