Prune Tart Recipe
Mix together: 5 Cups Flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 cup sour cream, 1 cup butter or oleo, 1 teaspoon baking soda. Mix well, and put in refrigerator 1 hour.
Mix 1 box pitted prunes with enough water to cover. Boil 20 minutes. Drain, add 2 tablespoons sugar. Mash the prunes.
Divide dough into 4 balls, and roll one at a time about 1/8 inch thick. Use prune tart cutter (tarts look like pinwheels when finished) Put 1 rounded teaspoon in each tart and fold ends to form a pinwheel. Sprinkle with sugar and bake 350 degrees for 15- 20 minutes until lightly brown.
