definition needed

Can someone tell me what hofslag mäst. is? I have looked through many Swedish dictionaries and can't find it. I assume it is an occupation?

Hovslagarmästare = farrier master, a blacksmith.

Thank you, Hasse. I never thought to look for hovslag. because all the references I found spelled it as hofslag. I learned something new today.
