Charles & Emma Mattson

I am looking for information on Charles Mattson. He may have been born in Norway but is actually Finn/Swedish possibly. He had a son that was born in Brooklyn Kings New York in 1893 named William Adolf Mattson, so he would have immigrated prior to that time. I can't find any other information at this point and anything else would be of great help. I have checked the Ellis Island info and have nothing there either.

Married 1890, They had 5 children but only 2 had survived.
