I wonder, if somebody has translated to English the genealogy (or fairytale) about descendants of Tord i Byr. A relative of mine in USA seems to be a descendant of Bore family. I would like to send the story to her in English but cannot either English or Swedish well enough to make a proper translation.

Is Bure the name of a family from Sweden? I know someone who has some Bure names dating back to the 1300s. If you think there is some connection, I could send you a PM with his e-mail address.

Yes, it is from Sweden. The story starts from late 900s and there my be reliable ancestors at Bureċ near Skellefteċ at 1400s. Probably some of the descendants came to Finland too.
