I am looking for a book titled "The Doghill Kids Go to Town," which was written by popular Finnish author Mauri Kunnas. This is a children's book and it is written in English. It was published some years ago by Methuen Children's Books in Finland. Does anyone know where I might find a copy of it?

The Doghill Kids Go to Town was published already in 1983. May be hard to find.
Otherwise you may have a look at Mauri Kunnas website here (http://www.maurikunnas.net/index.cfm?lang=eng).

Thanks for your prompt reply, Jaska. I have two of Mauri's other books - written in Finnish - which my cousin translated for me. What a wonderful writer he is!

I was told of this book in English and hope to find a copy. Do you have any online USED bookstores in Finland where I might inquire about a copy?

You may not find the specified book easily in Finland. It's English publisher Methuen is actually British. Some later Mauri Kunnas' books foreign translations have been published by his Finnish publisher Otava (http://www.otava.fi/in_english/books/) .
Anyway I know of only one site for used books, that lists titles from several old book shops. It's all in Finnish

For new books:
http://www.akateeminen.com/ (Finnish and Swedish, ordering info in English)
http://www.suomalainen.com/sk/ (Finnish)
http://www.bookplus.fi/main.php (also in English, but smaller selection)
All seem to have some English titles available, if you are interested to pay rather high postage and handling costs
