I have a request from someone looking for information concerning:

Albert and Signe Gripenberg, who had a daughter Ellinor. Albert was in New York in 1922 and then moved to Kronoby ca 1956 when he retired. Does anyone have any data on Albert's parents. In my database I have Uno Gripenberg, b. 1896 in Kronoby.

Hilda Katarina Mattsdotter Siffren and Aina Johanna Siffren, both born in the late 1800's. Also Vendla Albertina Siffren, born January 3, 1896 in Kimo (Oravais.) Does anyone have data on the parents of these people - someone just discovered they are related to them.

Hi June,
I searched SSDI to see how common the surname was and noticed Albert and Signe are both listed. The following record fits with Albert's birth date. Perhaps there would be some helpful data on the naturalization record.
At http://www.italiangen.org/southersearch.asp
Southern District Court of NY Naturalization Records Index

There are Gripenbergs still in Kronoby. Try to see the following pedigree from Talko: link (http://www.finlander.eget.net/angraf/pedigree.php?personID=I5093&tree=cronobybas)

Alina Siffrén's data in Talko is here (http://www.finlander.eget.net/angraf/descend.php?personID=I48289&tree=ArneN) . Hilda's here (http://www.finlander.eget.net/angraf/descend.php?personID=I52018&tree=ArneN) and here (http://www.finlander.eget.net/angraf/descend.php?personID=I6149&tree=BerglundG)

Vendla's pedigree is here (http://www.finlander.eget.net/angraf/pedigree.php?personID=I75159&tree=BerglundG) in Göran Berglund's collection so there you can find all the pedigree material for the siblings.

Thanks, Hasse. I found Berglund's data and was in the process of checking out the others when your mail came through. I think all this should be satisfactory to Ray.
