Hi,
I am trying to find out more about my second cousin in the US. The information I have, has been collected from different sources including Census records, birth and death records using Ancestry.com and FamilySearch. In some cases I have made some conclusions about family connections by combining pieces of information for different sources.
Can anyone give me anything that either confirms or questions my results. How should I proceed to get this confirmed and find additional information? Mainly I am interested in Arthur E Barlund junior, his family and possible siblings.

Your Johan Robert Bärlund was born 5 Jun 1870 in Borgå/Porvoo at Prestgården, Braskens farm to crofter Johan Bärlund and Maria Sofia Carlsdotter Gestén, b. 23 Aug 1834 in Borgå to drang Carl Gestén and Maja Lena Carlsdotter.

Johan and Maria Sofia had the following children:
1. Johan Robert, b. 5 Jun 1870, Braskens farm
2. Edvin Israel, b. 25 Aug 1871, Braskens farm
3. Fredrik Wiljam, b. 8 Jun 1874, at Farm 37
4. Carl Waldemar, b. 9 Feb 1876, d. 19 Feb 1876, at Farm 37 At that time his father Johan Robert was a seaman.

Fredrik William is my grandfather and I have the Finnish part of his family. What I am looking for is the descendants of his brother Johan Robert who emigrated to the US.
