I try to find out more information about lost relatives that ones lived in my house. Here is one of them;
Olga Maria Johansdotter born August 22 1881 in Pedersöre, Vestersundsby Kisor. She was the daughter of Johan Jonasson Rundbacka born August 8 1857 in Esse and Anna Johanna Petter-Andersdotter Skutvik born June 26 1859 in Pedersöre, Vestersundsby, Skutvik. Johan emigrated to USA 1881 and Anna together with the daughter Olga followed in 1886. Do anybody have information about them??

Grateful for help

Here's your family in 1910 in Eureka, Humboldt, CA. All the children at home except Olga. They now run a lodging house. I found a John Johnson in Bucksport, Humboldt in 1920, now widowed. Don't know if it's him or not. Bucksport is where they were in 1900. I also found Walter's WWI Draft Reg card. Didn't find one for Carl.The 1900 census is the first I've run across that gives the complete DOB for people. John 8 Aug 1854
Annie 24 Jun 1859, Olga 22 Aug 1881, Ida J 25 Mar 1887, Walter J 25 May 1888 and Carl O A 12 Mar 1896.

I found an obit for a Charles Johnson that matches his DOB. Charles Johnson 12 Mar 1896-Jan 1987 in Ashland, Jackson, OR civil:CA
I also found Ida J and her family in 1920 and 1930. In 1930, father John Johnson lives with them. I found Ida J Fleming 25 Mar 1887-30 Aug 1971 Eureka, Humboldt, CA. She is buried in St Bernard's Cemetery in Eureka. Her husband Edward was from Finland per census.

Found the births of Ida and Edward's children.
Edward Fleming 26 May 1912 mmn Johnson AKA Paul Edward Fleming
Helen L Fleming 8 Jul 1915 mmn Johnson
Virgil D Fleming 26 May 1912 mmn Johnson. Virgil D is same as David VA. Must have decided to use David.
A Paul Edward Fleming born 26 May 1912 died 15 Dec 1953 in Humboldt, CA.
Sources CA Birth and Death Index.
Strangely, Edward Fleming is listed as a Baptist minister on his WWI Draft card. Later he is an insurance agent in 1920 and a rancher, apartment house owner in 1930. Ida is buried in a Catholic cemetery. Edward is not found there. If it's the correct Ida. Dates match.

Karen you are fast!
Thank you for the information! I found more about these people in the book "Guld och röda skogar" by K-G Olin. Edward Fleming from Mustasaari/Korsholm was sent out as a Baptist minister by "Svensk Finska Baptistkyrkan". He was a minister in Eureka 1910-1917. Ida Fleming's mother was Mrs Johnson. So it matches!
