This is a Polish recipe introduced to Finland by Marshal Mannerheim. He used it as an appetizer or evening snack. His recipe could also be used as a filling for crepes or an omelet. His favorite drink to be served with this appetizer was schnapps and his glass had to be filled to the brim. He was very finicky about that.
