I recently found out my 5th Great Grandfather was a volunteer Finnish private soldier.
Pehr Henricsson Hellman ( previously Suomela,Pouckula)
Born: 1761 Pyhäjoki died: 1818 Kalajoki (retired private soldier)

I came across some early military rosters online for Pyhäjoki and Kalajoki and located him in Kalajoki Communion books (sotilaat,Pyhäjoen komppania #36)

Since i do not understand Swedish nor Finnish, could someone help translate the following information.

Per Hindrickson Helman

Pett. Hellman

Military is out of my knowledge but I can try to translate:

The company of Pyhäjoki, the farms of Kalajoki that supported the soldiers:

Pehr Henricson Hillman
Per Hindrickson Helman
Petter Hellman
Pett. Hellman
{recorded 10 times from 1790-1804}

regiment nro: 615 (another record has 637)
company. nro.:14 (another record has 36)
The group of farms/name of the soldier: Kärtet
(The differences in the numbers probably due to reorganisation of the army)

syntymä-vuosi paikka: 1764 Pyhäjoki(other records have 1764 Osterbotten)
Year of birth place: 1764 Pyhäjoki (and Pyhäjoki as a parish in the area of Osterbotten/Ostrabothnia)

marital status: married
Started his service.: 25.1.1790 (other records have 6.3.1790, and 1791)
Note.: Transfered from #14: 15.3.1796 in service ? old military clothes
Transefered to #36: 15.3.1796
Ordered to Hangö
