I don't know if this is your Charles Sandstrom, but on Ancestry, I found a Ch. Sandstrom, born abt 1859, age 23, arrived to Sidney, NSW, Australia 16 Nov 1882 on the "Mana", vessel from Sweden. I would guess Ch is Charles.
I also found a Charles Sandstrom in the 1919 Sands Directory of Sidney and NSW at 18 Pearl Street.
I did not find him in a death index. Karen

Here is the cropped image from the Sands Directory. I found that Pearl Street is in the Surry district of South Sidney. Also, you can get a copy of the death record from the government as a Family History Death Certificate for 27.00. If you're sure he died in 1923. Website www.bdm.nsw.gov or just Google Family History Death Certificates New South Wales. That should get you there. A Family History certificate is one >30 years old for genealogical purposes. Hope this helps. Karen

Hi Natae

Go with your browser to

http://hem.passagen.se/ollove/

On the upper left click the "In English" link and you should have all the info needed to contribute to the Gotland database

Hope this helps, I for myself have got numerous help from others on the net, so this is my way of paying back:-)
In this case it was just a coincident that I noticed Gotland, and remembering that this gedcom file was freely available on the net.

Cheers,

Lasse Holm

Natae,

It's me again, during all these years of researching my own family and releated familys, I've learned that, collect all info you can get, sooner or later you will need it. So if you supply something to the owner of the gotland database, I'm intrested to. Way back some of my ancestors go to Gotland too.
