Now Iīve found something new! Looking for Albert C Eklund,
brother of
Alfred I. Eklund and Mrs. Edith Newman, both of Seattle. I donīt know when he is born. Parents were Anna Lovisa Karlsdotter Byman 25.1.1863-1915,
married 1891 to Isak Mattsson Eklund(Pet)
7.10.1870. 1900 Colorado. In the obituary of his brother Alfred it says that he was born in Sweden, which is wrong, it is in Finland, here it is:
"Alfred I. Eklund - Pueblo Chieftain - October 13, 1970 - Alfred I. Eklund of 118 Lake, Oct. 12, 1970. Husband of Mrs. Ida M. Eklund. Father of Mrs. Edith Davis, and Mrs. Ethel Gruenewald, both of Pueblo; Mrs. Lois Rhoades, Webster Grove, Mo., and Alfred J. and Howard J. Eklund, both of Seattle, Wash. Brother of Albert C. Eklund and Mrs. Edith Newman, both of Seattle,. Father-in-law of Mrs. Mary Georg Rick, Pueblo. Survived also by 21 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Member of St. Patrick Parish, Pueblo Elks Lodge 90, and the Half Century Club. Mr. Eklund was born Oct. 13, 1892, in Sweden and had resided in Pueblo 69 years. He retired in 1960 from the CF&I quality control department following an employment of 53 years. Following his retirement, he operated the Eklund Sharpening Service. Rosary recitation 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Funeral Home Drawing Room. Mass of Resurrection 10 a.m. Thursday, St. Patrick Church. Elks committal Roselawn. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Pueblo County Cancer Society, 322 W. Fifth, or the Pueblo County Heart Unit, P.O. Box 1658."
Anyway, Iīm now looking for the brother, Albert. I have tried to find these people very long now..
