I am attempting to translate some Finnish documents I got from my Grandfather's parish in Jalasjärvi Finland. Am I correct in interpreting that my Grandfather came to America in 1900, returned to Finland in 1902 and then returned to America that same year (1902)? Here is the entry: "otti P: n Amerikkaakn 2.10.1900,. palasi sielta v. 1902, otti uudelleen 22.8.1902 PK: n Amerikkaakn." Thanks to any of you who can (really) read Finnish Wes H.

"passport to America 1900, returned 1902, once again 22.8.1902 {PK:n} America"

The "PK:n" either points to the "P" in "Passi", ie passport? But why the "K"??
