Hi - my name is Debbie and I live in Washington state. My grandfather emigrated from Pensala in 1903. He was Matts Vilhelm Johannsson Backlund, b. 1886.

I was fortunate enough to visit Finland in the year 2000, and met many wonderful people. It is a beautiful country and I would love to go back again someday.
