Gerald "Gary" Uhacz passed away at Southwest Washington Medical center on September 7, 2010, at the age of 69.

Gary grew up in Hockinson, Washington and graduated from Battle Ground High School in 1959, where he was the starting pitcher for the Varsity Baseball team and the elected Class President.

He started Morning Star Dairy in Vancouver, Washington in 1967. He owned and operated Uhacz Dairy Distributing, Inc. from 1981 until his retirement in 2001.

Gary filled his time dedicating himself to building his business and caring for his family.

In 1972 Gary and his wife Janice moved from Vancouver to Camas where they raised their family. Gary spent his days working on his cars, farming, fishing, chatting sports with his older brother Vern and never missing his children and grandchildren's sporting events.

We will all miss his smile, warmth, encouragement, and guiding words.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Janice; six children, Kelly Uhacz, Kit Uhacz, Wendy Uhacz, Krislynn Sandry, Karen Jones and Debbie Heasley; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
