I havent been doing any work for awhile because I home school my son and have three other small children. But school has finally ended and I am glad to be back to searching for my ancestors.

My question is about some numbers at the end of the page in the rippikirja.
Ylistaro 1877-1886 II kuva 157.
Johan Isakss. 6.3.1844. I think it is 1881 but not sure. This person was sent to Siberia and I was wondering if this was when he was sent.
Also his wife and two sons are listed below him with something at the end of the page as well.

If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

Thanks.:)

Page 987 (http://www.sukuhistoria.fi/sshy/sivut/jasenille/paikat.php?bid=8808&pnum=157) has a movement notice for Johan Isaksson Valli to page 1184 (http://www.sukuhistoria.fi/sshy/sivut/jasenille/paikat.php?bid=8808&pnum=339) in 1881. Similarly to his family (do = ditto).
On later page he has notice På Kakola - at Kakola (prison in Turku).
I cannot figure where references NBB (281 and 322) really point to.
BB would mean criminal record, NB refers to new communion book, but NBB

The next communion book (rippikirja) set is unfortunately not yet indexed, but you may try to find the family among Topparla bys slut (Topparlan kylän lopussa, at the end of Topparla village), starting from page 1850 (http://www.sukuhistoria.fi/sshy/sivut/jasenille/paikat.php?bid=9880&pnum=1547).

Well, I found them quickly enough on page 1855 (http://www.sukuhistoria.fi/sshy/sivut/jasenille/paikat.php?bid=9880&pnum=1552).
Juho Iisakinpoika Valli has a note: Elink. vanki Siperiassa (life sentence prisoner in Siberia) and death date 19/8 83. Rest of the family moves to page 609 (http://www.sukuhistoria.fi/sshy/sivut/jasenille/paikat.php?bid=9880&pnum=484) in 1888. There Sanna Josefiina has a new husband.

P.S. Note the change in recording language from Swedish to Finnish.

NBB - how about Ny Barna Bok (new children's book)?

Thought of that, but couldn't understand it in this context

I appreciate your help. I am not great getting around the FFHA but I do pretty good. I am unable to find these pages these pages that you have told me about. I cant find a page 1850 or 1855. Sorry for not being so smart. Could you please help me a little more. I even tried to click on the page numbers for your response and it wants me to give a username and password.

It looks as if Johan and Sanna had two other children that I was unaware of. I saw them on page 1184, Viktor Edvard and Matts Viktor. I saw also where the number 1855 is writtten but I am unable to find it. As I have said earlier. I dont see where the records go to 1888. :o

Those page numbers are for 1887-1896 book.
You must be a member of FFHA, if you've read 1877-1886 books. So you should view the later books as well.
Asking for username and password is perhaps due to your using the other alternative address than me ( www.digiarkisto.org | www.sukuhistoria.fi ). The same username/password pair applies and if you have allowed your browser to remember them for one, you may do the same for the other.
