Bud Kivisto, 78, of Superior, died on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013 in Essentia Health/St. Maryís Medical Center after watching the Packers win their game over the Vikings.

Bud was born in Iron River on Feb. 12, 1935 to Fred and Ida (Winter) Kivisto. He served his country honorably in the US Air Force from 1953-1957 and retired from Barko Hydraulics in 1999. In his free time Bud loved fishing, especially at Glacier National Park in Montana.

He is preceded in death by his parents Fritz and Ida (Winter) Kivisto, a sister Sharron Kivisto and grandparents Aaron and Emila Kivisto.

Bud is survived by his wife Judith of 51 years; daughter Jonell of Denver, Colo.; son Aaron of Superior; granddaughter Larissa Judith Kivisto; honorary granddaughter Cassy Lind; brother Fred and sister Rosemary both of Iron River; sister Karla (Harold) Roberts of Mason, Wis.; several cousins, nieces, nephews and family cat Princess.
