The other side of my family. My great-grandmother's brother brought his sisters to WA State to marry Finns. They were "mail-order" brides. I have her family tree from her parents back, I just don't have the names and birth dates of all her siblings. I would love to have this information and the dates they each emigrated.

These are the parents of my grandmother Ida Johanna Asujamaa. Ida emigrated 9-9-1891. The brother who brought the sisters here was Andrew Asujamaa. Name change in the US to Asuja.

Kälviä Rippikirja, 1896-1906, Kälviä 13, Asujamaa, shows the following members of that family went to America: Antti, born 25.4.1859, in 1880; Maria Amalia, born 3.4.1861, in 1889; Juho Viljami, born 19.12.1865, in 1891; Ida Johanna, born 16.1.1871, in 1891; and Emilia, born 14.7.1878, in 1906. There was also Melida, born 14.6.1881, and Otto, born 23.7.1863 (shown with his wife Priita Johanna and 4 children, one of whom died), who as of 1906, were still in Finland.
