Greetings.
Britha Eriksdotter born 24 Feb 1735 Murik, Nedervetil.
Married 6 Nov 1753 Karleby.
Died 18 Aug 1794 Kolam Terjärv.

Husband: Simon Carlsson born 1731 According to Nedervetil/Karleby Communion books.
Died 1758 Skog, Nedervetil. (Not found in burial records)

This is what I have about Simon:
Karleby Communion book:
1744 - 1749 page 8, Murich, Nedervetil ... birth year 1731.
1750 - 1755 page 12, Murich, Nedervetil ... found as "Dräng". Moved to page 30, Skog ... found as WargK. Simon Carlsson.

Nedervetil Communion book:
1754 - 1760 page 44, Inhysningar ... Simon Carlsson found dead 1758.

The only Simon Carlsson I have found (to closely match) in birth records is:
Gamlakarleby Born / Christened 13.3.1736 / 14.3.1736
Village / Farm %40 %40Father %40 Carl %40 Kurterus %40
Mother %40 %40 %40 %40 %40

But I haven't been able to verify if they (the 2 Simons) are the same person.

Thus, my question is: Who is the parents? of Simon Carlsson's born 1731.

Greetings June.
Yes I did. Been there before.
Best info is in your data. Particular this statement: "Soldier with Österbottens Regemente och Låhteå Compagnie. Rote No.25. Booträsk i Såka."
That's good info, Thank You. But I'm not good when it comes to search for a soldier.
Have search church records for Booträsk in Såka, but can't find. Neither do I find "Låhteå compangnie, Rote 25. I assume Rote 25 list names of soldier. But, does it give a birth location and the names of parents?

Thank you June.

KG- I found a mention on My Heritage that Simon was born 13 Mar 1736 in Gamlakarleby to Carl Kurterus.. no other info. given. I'll check with someone in Finland to see if I can find out anything more.

Please, note this limitation to the age.
Since Simon Carlsson visited holy communion on 19 Jun 1747 (re: http://digi.narc.fi/digi/view.ka?kuid=8291604), he cannot be born in 1736, but 1731 fits well, if that was his first time.

Sounds logical.. and as we know, data on My Heritage isn't always correct..

I originally found this Simon in FamiySearch.org. Causing me to look true all Gamlakarleby/Karleby/Nedervetil church records , but could not find any evidence that he is the same as Simon born 1731.
